Wendy Shay addresses educational needs through Shay Foundation’s EduCare program
Ghanaian artist, Wendy Shay, is among those who have donated millions of cedis’ worth of food items and educational materials to charities—perhaps we could all take a leaf out of her philanthropic book to help make an impact in our society.
The Shay Foundation is a non-profit organization that works to encourage and support charitable initiatives that have a positive social impact and enhance the quality of life for both individuals and communities.
The Shay Foundation enables its public and private partners to strengthen the development of a support system for underprivileged individuals in our communities. The foundation has achieved considerable success throughout the years by making a significant impact on many people’s lives through its philanthropic endeavors.

The EduCare and ShayCare programs are two of the many programs the Shay Foundation undertakes to bring support to both children and adults. So, we have two projects under the foundation:
Shay Care, which is in line with the UN SDGs 3 (Good health and wellbeing) has been involved in many charitable projects since 2019, addressing needs every month.
The Shay EduCare, an SDGs 4 (Quality Education) program is the latest project introduced by the foundation.
Today under the EduCare program which is tailored to meet the needs of disadvantaged children and educational crisis, Wendy Shay has donated educational materials to Weija Presby/MA-3 School.
The donation of new uniforms, books, ba,gs etc is not only to put smiles on the faces of these children but to encourage them to pursue their dreams and ambitions to contribute positively to their communities.
“We are delighted to support these children through the EduCare program and contribute to the education of children in Ghana and the world at large” Wendy Shay, Founder of Shay Foundation said. “We believe that every child deserves access to quality education and we are committed to making a positive impact in the lives of children in Ghana and the world.”
Wendy Shay’s commitment to addressing the challenges in our society is evident not only through donations but through her music. Her recently released ‘Africa Money’ song is one of the many efforts she makes to bring help to people.

Legendary Ghanaian actress, Oheneyere Mercy Asiedu, has recently taken to social media to share a glimpse of her personal life with her fans.
The renowned actress proudly showed off her handsome eldest son, who currently resides abroad.
Oheneyere Mercy Asiedu, a household name in the Ghanaian film industry, is known for her exceptional acting skills and her contributions to the Kumawood movie industry. Over the years, she has won the hearts of many with her talent and charisma, both on and off the screen.
In a recent social media post, the actress shared photos of her eldest son, Nana Kofi Safo, as he celebrated his birthday. The photos show Nana Safo clad in colorful kente, looking every bit the young man his mother is proud of.
In her post, Asiedu expressed her joy and pride in her son. She wrote, “Happy birthday to you my son. May all your wishes come true today and every day. I admire the strong young man you have become. Time to eat cake and celebrate. I hope your special day is as wonderful as yours!”

As Nana Kofi Safo continues his journey abroad, his mother’s love and support remain with him. Despite the distance, the bond between them is evident in the heartfelt message shared by Asiedu.

Ghanaian rap legend, Sarkodie has subtly and intelligently called for the squashing of the ongoing beef with Strong Man and Kweku Smoke.
Sarkodie on his Instagram story posted a workout routine where he jammed to both ‘Asaaka’ by Kweku Smoke and ‘Dear God’ by Strong Man.
The 2 young rappers have been battling it out with lyrics over the past few days.
However, this move by Sarkodie will go a long way to bring unity between the 2 talented rappers.

Ghanaian actor Richard Kweku Asante, popularly known as Kalybos, recently tied the knot with his beautiful wife in a joyous and flamboyant ceremony.
The wedding was a grand affair, filled with laughter, culture, and a display of opulence.
The wedding ceremony was a star-studded event, with many famous celebrities in attendance. The couple looked stunning together in classy kente outfits.
Kalybos’ wife, Antwiwaa, wore a purple lace dress and long African braids, while Kalybos donned a blue brocade suit and black trousers.
