The Police have described claims that a Deputy Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Malik Basintale has been declared wanted as false.
The Police urged the general public to treat the claim circulated on social media with the contempt that it deserves.
“The attention of the Ghana Police Service has been drawn to a claim circulating on some social media platforms to the effect that Malik Basintale has been declared wanted by the Police.
“We wish to categorically state that the claim is false.
“We, therefore, urge the public to disregard it and treat it with the contempt it deserves,” a statement issued by the Police on Thursday, September 5 said.
