Ogum insists Kotoko have not won league despite moving 10 points clear at top

Asante Kotoko coach Dr Prosper Narteh Ogum has insisted the Ghana Premier League is not a done deal for his side despite their 10 points advantage at the summit of the table.

The Porcupine Warriors extended their lead following a 2-0 win over Dreams FC on Sunday with in-form striker Franck Mbella netting both goals in the second half.

Ogum told reporters after the game that Kotoko have won ‘nothing’ yet and they will fight until the last game of the season.

“Football is an unpredictable game, it’s not every day your team will find its rhythm but, the most important thing is to get the maximum 3 points in whatever situation your team finds itself in.”

“All will side with me that this is not our usual play, we’ll go back and assess things and then see the way forward.

“We still have a lot of games to go, if you ask me one million times, I will keep telling you the same thing and that’s until the last game, nothing is over.”

Kotoko will turn their attention to 2022 President’s Cup in which they face sworn rivals Hearts of Oak in Accra.
