Member of Parliament for Jomoro Constituency in the Western Region, Dorcas Affo-Toffey, managed to emerge without any injury after being involved in a vehicular accident.
The unfortunate incident that hit the MP and her entourage happened in the wee hours of August 29, at Komenda Junction on the Takoradi-Cape Coast-Accra Highway.
According to reports, the victims were returning to Accra after Madam Affo-Toffey wrapped up her campaign launch at Jomoro.
Sources say an overtaking truck caused the accident. The Ford Raptor Vehicle belonging to the MP then veered off the road and landed in a bush, averting a collision.
Reports have that the MP and her entourage are safe.
