Grammy award-winning artist and Nigerian singer Wizkid has gotten a lot of people talking after his revelation of using his phone for many years.
One would think that being a celebrity comes with a change of taste and the hast of getting new branded things to use. It seems Wizkid has changed the narrative and perception of many.
According to Wizkid, he has been using his phone for over eight years and has not thought of changing his phone to a new phone or the new advanced phones on the market.
This comment form Wizkid came in during an interview with Apple Music where the host questioned him on whether he would be purchasing the new iPhone14 series released a few weeks ago.
Wizkid disclosed that he doesn’t feel like changing his phone and that it has never been a problem or crossed his mind.
The host however asked Wizkid if he changed his phone number following the “Brown Skin Girl” collaboration with American singer Beyonce in her Lion King album or was still keeping his old number after his first single that made a hit.
The Grammy award-winning artist laughed and said he has not changed his number but has already done so many blockings on his old number over the years.
