Al Fahya winger Samuel Owusu provided his fifth assist of the season in his side’s 2-1 defeat at home to Al-Shabab in the Saudi Arabian Pro League on Sunday.
The 25-year-old weaved his magic again to set up Abdulrahman Al-Safri to pull the equaliser after the visitors had gone ahead courtesy John Mary’s strike in the 41st minute.
The Ghana star lasted 60 minute after being replaced by Mohammed Abusabaan.
Owusu has been in some scintillating since he returned to his side after featuring for his native Ghana at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.

The talented Ghanaian has now provided five assists in 19 appearances, scoring once so far.
John Mary opened the scoring for the visitors before Owusu provided the assist for Abdulrahman Al-Safri to tie things up at the Majma’ah Sports City Stadium.
But Nawaf Al-Abid grabbed the match-winner with 10 minutes left to play on the clock.
