Ghana attacker Daniel-Kofi Kyereh is proving to be a dead-ball specialist as he scored another free-kick on Tuesday night for St Pauli.
This comes three days after he scored a stunning free-kick for the club in the league win over Ingolstadt.
Kyereh scored from a free-kick with a cheeky shot that went under the defensive wall and into the bottom right corner of the goal as St Pauli took the lead against Union Berlin in the DFB-Pokal match.
But Union Berlin fought back to secure a 2-1 victory and advance to the next stage of the competition.
The goal was Kyereh’s 8th of the season as he closes in on double figures for the first time since 2018/19.
That season, the German-born scored 19 goals in the third division for SV Wehen Wiesbaden.
The 27-year-old has been in terrific form since returning from the Africa Cup of Nations and recovering from a muscle problem.
In the past four games, Keyreh has scored three goals.
Kyereh is not only scoring but setting up his teammates with 11 assists in all competitions.
