Francis Yaw Mensah Sam, founder of Earl Softwares and an immediate past student of the University of Cape Coast, has launched UCC SOCIAL, a social media app designed specifically for students of the University of Cape Coast. On UCC SOCIAL students can interact with everyone within the university, share their thoughts on university matters, share media, and engage in campus life beyond academics.
UCC SOCIAL includes features that allow users to post videos, images, and share updates, helping students connect and stay informed about happenings on campus. The app also supports student entrepreneurs, a buy-and-sell feature lets students who want to sell their product and those who want to buy engage with each other on the platform giving students entrepreneurs who want to sell their products to fellow students a large platform to advertise or sell their products promoting student entrepreneurship in the university.
The app is currently available on the Google Play Store and is expected to be launched on the App Store soon. With UCC SOCIAL, Francis hopes to enhance student engagement on campus by offering a dedicated space for both social interaction and entrepreneurship.
Earl Softwares also plans to release a series of apps aimed at benefiting and transforming lives across the country, reflecting the broader vision of making a positive impact in the country.
