Former Deputy General Secretary for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Samuel Koku Anyidoho is worried about the state of the party’s communication directorate.

Anyidoho cannot comprehend why the government in power is rather setting an agenda for the opposition when it is supposed to be the other way around.

To him, the NDC has become a laughing stock in the campaign leading up to the 2024 election.

“In 2008 when I was directing communications, there was no way we could be a laughing stock. So sad that A complete lack of proper policy direction is allowing the media to laugh at us and also tell us to stop making a mockery of ourselves. Very disturbing,” he said.

To him, for an opposition party to elect its flagbearer way before the governing political party but wait for the government to set an agenda for them to follow.

“When as a Communications Expert & Political Strategist, I said it was dangerous for the Opposition to sit idly by, & allow the Government to set the agenda; all they did was insult as usual. Now, Bawumia’s Policy Plan, is what is driving all the serious discussions,” he said.
