Gifty Afenyi-Dadzie, the National Prayer Director of Aglow International, led a congregation in prayer asking God to be kind to Ghana in 2024.

The Aglow Fellowship thanked God for maintaining peace in Ghana praying for the Electoral Commission ahead of the 2024 election.

The Aglow service was graced with performances by the Think Media Band, Aglow International Choir, and the Tambourine Choir, among others at the National Theatre on Saturday week.

Quoting Psalms 120:2 and Proverbs 12:22, Gifty Afenyi-Dadzie prayed against falsehood and malice, urging repentance and rededication to God to combat deceit. She reminded them of Psalm 127:1, stressing the futility of efforts without divine guidance.

With the 2024 election approaching, Afenyi-Dadzie called for daily prayers for Ghana, specifically for the Electoral Commission, political parties, and security agencies. She urged the selection of leaders with virtues and God’s guidance.

The congregation prayed against election malpractices and for the energy sector to be strong.

Additionally, Afenyi-Dadzie tasked the congregation to pray for political leaders, seeking divine wisdom to address national challenges, and for peace in Bawku.

The non-denominational service had hundreds of women and men clad in white attire using vuvuzelas, whistles, white handkerchiefs, and miniature Ghana flags to praise God for his faithfulness and mercies on Ghana.
